Jerome Ghost Town Tour

Our Ghost Town Tour takes you to Jerome. Although Jerome is best known for its Ghostly encounters, nestled on a hillside high above it has also gained much popularity for its historic culture, shops, magnificent views of the valley below, Red Rocks of Sedona, and the beautiful views of the San Francisco Peaks of Flagstaff that reach 12,636 feet in elevation and is the highest point in the state of Arizona.

The Jerome Hotel originally opened in 1927 and served as an Insane Asylum until 1950. Nearly 9,000 people died in the Jerome Grand Hotel during its previous life as United Verde Hospital. There must be some residual spirit energy left over from all those souls. Ghostly figures, sounds, unexplained orbs of light and other paranormal activity permeate the halls of this ghostly Hotel making it one of the most haunted places in Arizona.

Fun for the whole family! We put you in the driver's seat in one of our UTVs while following our expert guide.  We begin the ride on rural paved roads departing Williams through our back-country. Scenic lake views, dense forest and a variety of wildlife can be seen along the way. Guests have reported sightings of mountain lion, bear, elk, deer, fox, and Javelina pigs. Descending into a desert landscape you'll see beautiful views of the Verde Valley below us. Upon arrival at the Verde River, enjoy a break along the banks before continuing on to the Ghost Town with many great lunch choices and time to stroll the shops before returning. This tour is offered November thru March and is a must do when in the area.
